al-sussman-fans-on-the-run-buttonAl Sussman, Beatlefan executive editor and co-host of the weekly Beatles roundtable Things We Said Today, heard on Pure Pop Radio, recently joined me for another of In Conversation’s “just for fun” shows.

I asked Al to draw up a list of songs that made it to number one and should have made it to number one during the Beatles years, 1964-1969. Al and I spoke about each of these classic songs, providing historical perspective and tasty tidbits for each year.

This is such a fun show. I hope you enjoy it.
